@viking_boer We are not perfect, but yes, we are a far better option! Read comments with a scornful eye. The Americans complaining simply can't comprehend that their hardest days here are not comparable to SA.
@CrushCityFlex@USPS@USPSHelp My international priority mail express envelope to London took 20 days to leave the country. Criminal to charge $75 for that shit. DHL on the return was half the price and took 1 day from pickup to delivery. Never again USPS.
@idobadtakes Yes, you are. If you live <7.5 miles from your job in a city, you are sitting in traffic and are not likely getting 25 mpg unless you are in a hybrid.
@2nmumNmum@Mezzkalito_69@AffordAnything Yeah, thanks. Just another person who believes they are the smartest in the room, but can't follow a simple, logical argument. Easy to spot because while he intelligent people are discussing issues and policy, they're screaming "that's racism!"
@MarleneLowande Don't be delusional. Voting blue in midterms means nada. Zilch. Even if dems were to somehow flip Congress, that would just give us years of partisan fighting and endless impeachment inquiries.
@square_peg22@griffinaste Fuel prices affect the cost of nearly everything, so it's really not a single issue vote. $6-7 diesel is hurting all of us. It's not just about filling up your car with gasoline.
@Mezzkalito_69@2nmumNmum@AffordAnything You can't fairly "rank" kids that didn't have the same school opportunities. There's just no way to do it. That's just one of many problem with top % laws. There needs to be an alternate metric for transfer students. They already do this for homeschool students.
@Mezzkalito_69@2nmumNmum@AffordAnything WTH are you even talking about? High schools determine high school GPA and class rank, not colleges. If a student graduates with only one year in a Texas, there is no standard for how to convert grades and calculate class rank.
@Mezzkalito_69@2nmumNmum@AffordAnything No, we should be looking at how the schools are using incoming transcripts to calculate a GPA/class rank for that student that was schooled elsewhere.
