Ok so I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Nocries has claimed he can't make it to Frag Jersey anymore because he has "an urgent matter," and needs "to fly to Miami". He also exclaimed that he will "probably come in november in a obi1337 team".
The gambling discussion is always for or against, but nobody can or should be against an application blocking gambling, nor a desire to build a community to make support more easily accessible.
Having a problem with gambling has a lot of negative stigma around it, either you are unintelligent, reckless, not raised right or something else.
It takes someone who have felt the grip of compulsive gambling to understand that it can get to anyone.
I have personally lost control in the past, regaining it taught me a lot, shifted my perspective and ultimately inspired me to hopefully bring more awareness to the lack of support and guidance available
No virtue-signalling, no hidden agenda, just a desire to give more people a chance to take back control of their lives
Gamban blocks all casinos, CS2 gambling sites, betting sites etc - together we will build a community to support those struggling to quit
@NoahRiffe I'll be the first one to criticize the MLS, Inter Miami, etc. However, I dont think you can place all the blame on Messi. The league shouldve spent this past off-season putting a game plan together on how to use his publicity rather than forcing it down everyones throat
I'm sure its no surprise that nearly every celebrity that streams on Twitch viewbots one way or another. Twitch knows it, has known it, and doesn't do anything because celebrities make Twitch look more mainstream. Most do it for sponsors to inflate viewers to get more money lol
Ray J is seemingly admitting to viewbotting.
It's going to be interesting how Twitch reacts to this. If they do nothing, it's open season. But it's complicated by the fact that he's spoken several times about his relationship with Twitch's CEO.
@SDornSpectrum@llo_0py@D1ticker Lots of openings but not many know how to translate their resumes to traditional athletics. Very rare to find any GM or hiring manager in traditional sports that understands esports. The skills translate 100% and you can be very qualified it’s difficult to find people that see it
The biggest thing about esports is that everyone no matter your background is welcome. Clearly, with the changes in the industry that is no longer the case. Pricing fans, especially the passionte ones of North America is nothing short of shameless. Esports is not for all anymore.
@valianes@LiquipediaNet I think he said on a podcast one time it was a college dorm tournament. When he said "first ever quake tourney" he probably didn't mean it in the realm of esports?
@DaJanTRO @peaceemanager @PlayApexEsports Its their choice whether or not to work with him. Id be willing to bet that this guys "network of orgs" would not be able to provide anymore financial support than a FA team can get through a donation campaign. In some cases, being a F/A is better than working with an unknown org
@blucasts Professional Sports. Honestly way nicer to have an 8-4 job knowing that I will get paid every 2 weeks instead of tracking down invoices or trying to get work through Twitter / Discord. Id like to come back one day for the right people. Lots of creativity and passion in esports.
