JUNE 2028.
The S&P is down 38% from its highs. Unemployment just printed 10.2%. Private credit is unraveling. Prime mortgages are cracking. AI didn’t disappoint. It exceeded every expectation.
What happened?

Elon Musk came up with a pretty incredible idea during the Q3 Earnings Call, that no one is really talking about.
His words: “Actually, one of the things I thought, if we've got all these cars that maybe are bored, while they're sort of, if they are bored, we could actually have a giant distributed inference fleet and say, if they're not actively driving, let's just have a giant distributed inference fleet.
At some point, if you've got tens of millions of cars in the fleet, or maybe at some point 100 million cars in the fleet, and let's say they had at that point, I don't know, a kilowatt of inference capability, of high-performance inference capability, that's 100 gigawatts of inference distributed with power and cooling taken, with cooling and power conversion taken care of. That seems like a pretty significant asset.”
So basically, each car has ~1 kilowatt of high-performance AI inference capability, Tesla wouldn’t need to build giant data centers — the fleet is the data center.
Tesla could turn their entire fleet into a giant distributed inference network, spread across the world, powered by the batteries and AI in the car already.
Mind blown.
bide its time, and strike when ready. It echoes past conflicts: though Egypt, Jordan, Syria were meant to coordinate, Israel—despite being outnumbered—prevailed because their rivals never truly unified. Let’s see how history unfolds.
2 cents — This Gaza “peace plan” involves at least 8 major stakeholders — Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Israel, the US, and Iran (plus the UN/EU). But it’s bound to fail: Arab capitals will scramble for influence, fracture, and bicker. Israel, in turn, will sit back /1
@whitteegold@MohsinnaqviC42@MohsinnaqviC42 is the only one to blame! Please let people who understand cricket make cricket decisions instead of installing puppet captains like Salman Ali Agha so you can control them!
SHOCKING BLUNDERS! Talat DROPS a sitter! Haris FLUBS easy run-out! Salman’s BIZARRE switch to Rauf’s pace! Rauf CHOKES again! Total clown show—how do these guys expect to WIN?!
🇺🇸 Trump & Bessent Rewrite the Script on Managing the Debt
Trump is managing America’s $2T deficit like a businessman—timing debt, squeezing rates, and breaking the rules.
Here’s how Trump and Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent are outsmarting Wall Street 🧵👇
“If you zoom out — Trump’s ME strategy looks like this: pre-planned before his trip to ME, aimed at pulling $5T from the region + killing Iran’s nuke program. Now Palestine deal likely tied in — so literally everyone goes home happy:
Bad News for Stocks and Real Estate: Chamath Explains The Great Economic Reset
In the tweet below, @chamath points out that Trump has two core constituencies that are generally asset-light:
1) young people
2) working-class / middle-class
On E217, @chamath broke down his thoughts:
"I tend to be in the Stevie Cohen camp. It's not like the bottom is going to fall out, but there's a lot of room for concern."
-- In a recent interview, @StevenACohen2 said that a combination of tariffs, slowing immigration, and DOGE has him bearish in the short-term.
-- "I'm actually pretty negative for the first time in a while. It wouldn't surprise me to see a significant correction."
Chamath agreed:
"It is bad news for the stock market and it is bad news for asset owners."
" I think people want this austerity."
" So if you are going to feed your constituents and your constituents don't own stocks and your constituents don't own homes, or they are so wealthy that they can be inoculated from a massive drawdown in those asset categories, what do you think the winning strategy is?"
" If you want to cement political power, I think it requires a walking down of these asset markets in a meaningful way."
"That's stocks and that's real estate."
"And I just don't see any other way around it."
🚨🇺🇸🇷🇺 JEFFREY SACHS: WHAT WAS PUTIN’S INTENTION IN THE WAR?
“The idea was to keep NATO, and what is NATO? It’s the United States, off of Russia’s border.
In 2008, the United States jammed down Europe’s throat the enlargement of NATO to Ukraine and to Georgia.
Russia protested because if Russia decided to have a military base on the Rio Grande or the Canadian border, not only would the United States freak out, we’d have war within about 10 minutes.
A month later, a war broke out.”

@whitteegold You’re probably right.. It’s unfathomable tho cuz none of the European countries can afford a full blow war. In fact, they are still buying gas from Putin - they are so dependent. Not even gonna mention the economy situation..
Here’s a summary and my 2 cents on whole Trump-Zelensky’s spat:
Zelenskyy is pushing for NATO security guarantees, reframing them as necessary protections,
it’ll tank, elections will loom, and a pro-US leader will likely take over, restarting the process. Until then, his stubbornness wastes time and lives needlessly. Worse, he’s undermined closed-door commitments by playing tough on TV, badmouthing the US despite their aid,
