I don't think so. You wanna poke the AI people, and then try to play it of as "Touch Grass" to US? Honey, sweetie, darling, you don't get off that easy. Let me break it down into laymen's terms for you: AI ARTISTS were having FUN genning images, ideas they thought of, and other small little things, in their own space. Enter the first Anti-AI hater, and what do they do? Immediately target said AI ARTIST and call it all the buzz words. "Slop, Fake, Low Effort, Pathetic", on and on. Well just like any other artist wanting to defend their craft, said AI user claps back.
Does that diffuse the situation? No. Like all things those who fear want, they RAMP UP the fear, the hate, the judgement, and the harassment. So guess what? AI ARTIST give it right back. What's different is that unlike the Anti's AI ARTISTS never wished death upon their haters, they just make troll images to mock them. While some images look violent and bloody, it's a troll as well, because unlike Antis, they don't actually wish them dead.
So now it's a full on fight, AI ARTISTS vs Anti-ai HATERS. Difference is, while Anti's rage at us, we're still having fun supporting each other, raising each other up, and seeing what each of us can come up with. Now tell me, what are "artists" doing in their spare time? They doom scroll twitter, looking for any scrap of AI genned images they can immediately call "slop" just to feel vindicated and get their little tiny dopamine of superiority. It's a losing game. AI is the future, and if humanity fails to evolve, then it gets erased.

And don't even think about mentioning the environmental crap. Where was THAT concern for the last century hmm? Razed rainforests for paper, melted glacial polar ice caps from global warming(wait that doesn't exist right?), pollution, trash everywhere, people flooding their already green lawns with extra sprinkler water. Where was the concern then? Seems to be ONLY AI made it suddenly apparent to you people. Suddenly AI is the big bad on everything, not human stupidity.

So guess what? YOU go touch grass. YOU go see what humanity lives in, locked in stagnation and stalemate. Meanwhile, the AI ARTISTS will move into the god damned FUTURE.
