He actually said they need to write the code and change the architecture, he didnt mention new training to solve these edge cases.

I believe he is saying they will put systems in place so the car can call for help from the mothership if it gets into these situations. Similar to how Waymo handle these.

So this isnt waiting for the v15 super model. Its writing code to add a process on top of the current FSD. So I expect this will happen soon.
