Teachers... you have no idea how many of your former students would love the opportunity to thank you.
The height of egotism in a church or ministry leader is the need to imply that a person left the Lord because they left you. We are not the Lord. Let people move on. Rejoice when you raise up leaders who prove to be more committed to Jesus than they are to you. You did your job.
@TheJosephFowler And he’s starting earlier and earlier with these kids! I even see it in elementary kids. I thinks it’s one of his most subtle forms of attacks these days.
“I don’t know” can be one of the most powerful phrases with have in our jobs. It shows we won’t lie to others. It shows we are humble enough to be honest. It must be followed with “but I/we can find out��. We must follow it up with an answer. Honesty builds strong bonds in a team.
