@British_Airways I was able to get through to someone on the phone who could help. Your phone systems don’t allow anyone to stay on hold though, they just say to try again later if there’s a long queue. That is so frustrating to try and time it right and unlike any other airline.

@British_Airways I’m trying to cancel my flight for refund less than 24 hours after booking it, can’t get in touch with anyone on the phone though. Who should I contact????

@rickfriel Following covid precautions is important and the right thing to do.
Doing it in a way that screws over their fans is not the right thing to do.
Refunds should be more accessible.

@schrepfer yes high premiums are a shared expense. But you don’t participate in that for every single insurance company so don’t pretend like you personally take a part in every medical expense. People literally go to the ER for headaches, COVID isn’t a primary driver of high premiums.

@schrepfer Of the 20% that end up in the hospital you can assume 10-15% are uninsured. So you’re all worked up about taxpayers funding medical bills for 0.024%-0.03% of all COVID cases. Taxpayers spent more sending stimulus checks to dead people. How about you look at the bigger picture?

@schrepfer Why are you choosing to be ignorant? 80% of covid cases require 0 hospitalization. Vaccines are not free. They are paid for by medical insurance. The government pays for vaccines and care for the 12% of the uninsured population IF their state does not do so.

@schrepfer This statement is mostly false and I implore you to do your own research on medical funding because clearly you could benefit from it as the gov’t does not fund everything. I have both had covid and have been vaccinated and none of those expenses were paid for by the gov’t.
