Terrible news.

The first drag ban has passed in Tennessee, and goes to the governors desk.

It could easily ban pride. It bans public drag. It bans transgender people performing, who are just living their lives.

It charges them with a felony!

It is blatantly unconstitutional.

One of my favourite German words is Muffel (a grumpy person). It’s used in compound words such as Morgenmuffel (‘person that hates mornings’) and Krawattenmuffel (‘person that hates wearing ties,’ or ‘tie grouch’). I suggest English adopts Muffel to make the following compounds…

Arizona bill, SB1698, would ban "dressing in clothes other than your assigned gender" while "singing, dancing, and monologuing" in public.

15 year jail sentences and sex offender registry.

I sing, dance, and monologue to my kid all the time.

This would criminalize me.
