Se noi avessimo una vera strategia per porre fine alla guerra in Europa (che non sia attendere pazientemente la fine fisica di Vladimir Putin), adesso sfrutteremmo questo periodo prolungato in cui l’esercito russo è completamente fermo e incapace di avanzare anche solo di 100 metri per armare pesantemente l’Ucraina, a tal punto di concederle di poter eseguire operazioni controffensive non appena il meteo lo permetterà.

Purtroppo so che non accadrà, perché evidentemente i leader europei sono molto religiosi e aspettano i miracoli… invece di concentrarsi e darsi da fare per agire nel mondo reale.

“Realists” like Mearsheimer, Sachs, and Charap are utterly befuddled when it comes to Russia. They don’t understand the motivations of the Kremlin and so have misread both the causes of the war and the potential for its termination.

I am not sure what motivates them but “Realism” isn’t it — even as a loose framework (it’s not a theory, contrary to what its proponents peddle), it does not get them to the positions they hold on Russia (just witness how the same supposed theory leads them to disagree on Israel and China, for example, even among themselves).

В середине 90-х настоящим хитом кинопроката стал фильм «Особенности национальной охоты». На волне успеха позже вышли еще два фильма: «Особенности национальной рыбалки» и «Особенности национальной охоты в зимний период». Режиссер народной комедийной трилогии — Александр Рогожкин. Представляю удивление тех, кто, посмотрев эти фильмы, решил поближе познакомиться с творчеством режиссера, с его более ранними работами. И открыл для себя фильм 1992 года «Чекист». И это уже совсем не комедия.

Фильм «Чекист» — это тяжелая, изнуряющая драма о буднях красного террора в первые годы советской власти. Тогда сотрудники созданной красными Всероссийской чрезвычайной комиссии поставили расстрелы «классовых врагов» на конвейер.

Сцены расстрелов в фильме повторяются с пугающей механистичностью. Рутина убийства передана режиссером и создателями «Чекиста» так, что потом еще пару дней после просмотра трудно прийти в себя. Будьте к этому готовы, если решите посмотреть фильм.

В сво��м новом ролике я рассказываю про сталинского палача Блохина. Для него убийства тоже были рутиной. По подсчетам историков, за 30 лет Блохин лично расстрелял от 10 до 15 тысяч человек. Общество «Мемориал», борющееся за правду о репрессиях советского времени, само преследуется уже путинскими властями. Так что решила подключиться к освещению тем, которые Кремль с потомками советских преступников пытаются замолчать:
