@That_Bebbzy_Guy I’m no angry liberal, but you would avoid confusion by using the correct term. Food stamps are an American program that tend to normalize subsidization of grocery shopping. Carney’s rebate is not that. And certainly nowhere near 12M Canadians need food stamps to get by.
Question for the 6% of Albertans who want us to become a US resource colony: why not just go there and make a refugee claim?
You’ll be hosted in a lovely ICE detention facility while the Trump Administration determines whether you really are being oppressed in Canada by the “globalist deep state,” or whatever.
@StantonsLab@acoyne Yet it’s a bit ironic that Canada created 87,000 jobs last month and the US (10 times our size) created far less than 200,000 jobs in the same period.
A suggestion. The removal of Trump's name from the Kennedy Center should be celebrated by an improvised 24 hour festival of music, dance and - of course - comedy; Stephen Colbert presiding.
@Prominent_Bryan Well, the federal government has jurisdiction over federal highways like the Trans Canada, and there is no way that will ever be negotiated away.
@DermerCharles@trainofangels00 The only time what is now Canada was ever attacked was by the United States in 1812. You have never needed to offer us protection.
