Today the APPG has launched an inquiry into invasive species and the threats they pose to pollinators π
Invasive species are contributing to the ongoing decline in pollinator numbers, so we must understand how to mitigate their impact.
We'd love to hear from you π
We were delighted to host Nature Minster @MaryCreagh_ yesterday for a wide-ranging discussion. Issues covered included global biodiversity conferences, as well as the recent IPBES report and what it means for insects ππͺ²ππͺ°π¦

Earlier this month Vice-Chair of our Advisory Board @chickpeaman gave evidence at the @CommonsSITC session on insect decline & food security
We're pleased to see Parliament taking an interest in the issue of decline and will continue to support the impacted bees and pollinators
An important article outlining the need for a nuanced approach to saving our bees and pollinators.
Whilst the APPG welcomes any approach to help save bees and pollinators targeted support is needed.
