@ZackPolanski Case study for heat resilience. My loft traps heat and pushes late day temperatures through the roof. The only real fix is a £500 powered vent kit plus fitting. No grants. No help. If we want homes ready for rising heat, this gap needs to be addressed.

So, it appears we're heading for an undisputed #AndyBurnham coronation. Surely, as a #disabled person, I shoukd feel relief, that a new, nominally soft-left PM is incoming?

I don't. The perception that we disabled are a burden, are milking the system, are to be punished and persecuted has become so ingrained in society that no PM will dare challenge that. To do so would be political suicide. Like others who sole lifeline is #PIP and #UniversalCredit I long ago learned to live in fear.

So when someone asks if I'll feel safer, more protected under an @AndyBurnhamGM government, the answer will be a resounding no.

Can @TheGreenParty please step up on #disability? Disabled people are facing attacks on their rights and welfare. Labour have outdone the Tories on cruelty and bigotry, the Tories are demanding even more, Reform are promising to dish more out. Who is your disability spokesperson?

@patbhamilton The 2.6°C trajectory has a margin of error, but it's right in the middle of current probabilistic modeling. The lower confidence applies equally to the high and low ends, meaning the old 4.5°C+ doomsday remains a statistical outlier based on updated real-world emissions data.
