Very excited to work with EarthLab and Climate Impacts Group this summer as the NCRC Intern!
The Northwest Climate Resilience Collaborative assists frontline communities in improving their resilience to climate change while addressing systemic inequity.

Han estudiado la reacción de estas aves ante las llamadas de los Hadza de Tanzania y de los Yao de Mozambique, ambas son extremadamente diferentes (paper) https://t.co/HYcf0nr4pO por @briwood1
My key takeaways from my research were:
1. There's great interest in both the theory and practice of climate and environmental justice from students.
2. There's a desire from students and faculty to learn from and partner with CBOs/NGOs within EJ.
Breaking news: In the first ruling of its kind nationwide, a Montana state court decided Monday in favor of young people who alleged the state violated their right to a “clean and healthful environment” by promoting the use of fossil fuels.
The court determined that a provision in the Montana Environmental Policy Act has harmed the state’s environment and the young plaintiffs, by preventing Montana from considering the climate impacts of energy projects. https://t.co/1EhF5nZHy4
I also want to shout out Jonnell Robinson and Timothy Hawthorne for publishing "Making Space for Community-Engaged Scholarship in Geography". It's been a great source to include in my annotated bibliography!
I want to shout out Heenjun Chang for leading one of my sources, "A community-engaged approach to transdisciplinary doctoral training in urban ecosystem services"!
@GahaganAmelie I'm not planning on extending my Capstone because my internship end date was always August 18th, and I want to make sure I have a break before the Fall quarter starts!
The other big thanks I want to give is to Lissan Tibebe at @uwearthlab! She has worked extremely hard to ensure our internship cohort feels supported and ready for our next academic chapter. I'm very appreciative of all of Lissan's work! #ENVIR491
The first organization I want to thank is my host internship @CIG_UW! I've had an amazing experience so far thanks to the welcoming team at CIG. It's been great getting to learn from everyone, and I can't wait to follow along with the exciting work being produced! 💖💖#ENVIR491
