@iphe@shane80941270 This is the hottest I've ever seen it tbh. Milan didn't used to get this hot, so the buildings aren't built for it the way they are in the South 😭.
@AmusedToDeath1 It's not the price, it's the fact window units are not allowed in most places. But tbh this past week made a lot of people buy portable ACs (including me lol).
@shavil0mi@tinajaneb33 A ticket to Texas costs 500 - 1000 €, depending on when you snag it. The expensive part about the US is the hotel. Plenty of middle class Europeans are in the US for the world cup now.
@eugyppius1 This works, but only to a certain point and only if the building has thick stone walls + shutters/blinds, not curtains. If it gets above 35 C, it's just miserable, no matter what.
@Mayvee793@starvation421 Read up on the case. The Yates were part of a sect where women basically had no agency. If the husband was insane and she kept exposing children to him, then yes, in many states she could be charged with failure to protect/reckless endangerment or involuntary manslaughter.
@Mayvee793@starvation421 Women in general? No. This particular woman? She was extremely psychotic (PPP, propagated by getting pregnant again) and the husband has been warned by everyone that she's dangerous. I don't understand why the doctors didn't commit her earlier though.
@NouveaT53568@dvorstone That's just plain wrong on both counts - IQ tests do not favor women in any way, and even if they did, somehow, 125 -> 105 is still not how standard deviations work. IQ of 125 is the 95th percentile for both sexes, by the way 😂
@dissidentwest Same in Europe. They also open barber shops. Both types of ‘businesses’ barely have customers but always have a bunch of men loitering/smoking out front.
@S_Darshanik@Hyza87@Bhau191919 Spain?? Italy is the 2nd biggest manufacturing market in Europe, just behind Germany. Aerospace, automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, etc. You have no idea what you’re taking about, Indian.
