@AmexAU@Kliddiard Welcome to the club @Kliddiard , I m about to do the same. Been asking for any incentive to upgrade from current low end AMEX to Platinum charge for a few years, declined every time.
@AmexAU I ve held a Qantas Ultimate card for 8+ years with clean credit record, full $20k+ balance paid on time every month via direct debit . Saw on offer on your website for 225k points for AMEX platinum charge card. Called the number on back of the card to make the switch 1/2
@AmexAU 2/2 was told there are no financial or point incentives whatsoever because I m an existing customer. Bit of a #letdown really, #norecognition for loyal customer with account in good standing and you're clearly not interested to have them switch to more expensive premium products
if you have time to waste, I suggest you try and ask @Optus@OptusSport to delete a free Optus Sport account in their online chat. 2h40 down the track and still no answer in sight
@qantas I have a MacBook Pro 15" manufactured in 2016. Can I take it with me as carry on on a QF marketed and operated flight, and am I allowed to use it in flight ?
