@MlMcNamaraTD Well said. Surely recent lockdown was a clear example of how fast air quality and reduced emissions can dramatically improve when car usage dropped and airlines ceased. Farming continued all through lockdown, yet to much propaganda still blames farming - it's a tiny % emissions
@davidludwigmd@ejcneditor@SpringerNature An interesting read with valid points for both EBM & CIM. This highlights how important it is to seek scientific truth without falling foul of confirmation bias. It seems once a side is chosen that proponents of the chosen hypothesis become blinded to any other possibility
As a nutrionist, I like to eat well. However, the level of perfectionism that exists in diet/nutrition circles can't be healthy - does the stress & anxiety caused by constant over-analysis of daily food/meals outweigh the goodness delivered by the food? I wonder...

@RDValerie It is worth remembering that not all sat fats are the same. The effect of butyric, lauric, palmitic, stearic, or arachidonic acid on plasma and cells varies. Palmitic is associated with CVD, while others tend to be more neutral. This may be leading to opposing diet-heart theories
@santanderukhelp I called customer service last week to update mobile number, they confirmed updated number, but upon login it still requests 2nd authentication via old number. Needs resolved asap please
@RDValerie Haha! So true. And why is an apple often used as a symbol of good nutrition - as fruit and veg go, apples are pretty low in nutrients compared to other options.
@AthleticsWeekly I get that many times at UK champs were affected by strong winds so not legal qualifying times, but all athletes were in the same race. A winner is a winner
@AthleticsWeekly Why has Azu not been chosen for mens 100m? He won UK gold... only in relay team where he will be lucky to feature. Neita also not chosen for 200m, but she won UK gold in strong time.
@katymcguinness I use coconut milk due to dairy intolerance. Could drink cow's milk until about 2 years ago. Plant milks are inferior by far, nutritionally speaking, but the change was a necessity, not a choice. Happy to help further if needed, Katy.
1 in 3 people you know have difficulty sleeping. Without a diagnosis, doctors can do little to help. The solution...sleep coaching. Take the F2S online course to become a sleep coach. Improve your own sleep and help others do the same. #sleepcoach#sleep#elearning#fit2succeed
@BrandonPetersMD Agree it's practical use is very specific. Also melatonin is very beneficial for sleep delay in autism, specifically those who cannot quiet the mind and feel alert long after routine bedtime.
@JuliaBFit I think ensuring working breaks are sufficient to allow for exercise would be great. Laws still do not guarantee enough time across a typical working day
