Khirbet Qeiyafa, in the Elah Valley, near Beit Shemesh, is an early 10th-century BCE fortified Judahite city with massive casemate walls (houses integrated into the fortifications), two gates, and a planned urban layout.

It represents one of the clearest examples of early centralized Israelite monarchy planning and state formation, likely tied to the time of David.

There were no pig bones found (consistent with emerging Israelite dietary practices), and domestic artifacts paint a picture of organized community life.

The stone foundations and walls are superbly preserved on a hill overlooking the Valley of Elah, which is the biblical site attributed to the battle of David vs. Goliath.

As an Ex-Muslim, let me explain Muhammad and “The Satanic Verses” in the Quran.

was a good prophet until he wasn't. I wanted to believe he was sincere, that maybe he was just misunderstood, maybe he repented later on in his life. 

But the more I studied the timeline of his ministry, the harder it was to ignore the shift.

Early Muhammad in Mecca preached peace, talked about one God, and tried to win over Jews and Christians. But later in Medina, that’s when it changed.

Suddenly, it transitioned to power and polygamy and violence, and revelations started sounding a lot like personal convenience. Then there’s a part nobody really wants to talk about in apologetics - “the Satanic verses.”

Ibn Ishaq, Islam’s earliest biographer, says Muhammad delivered verses that glorified pagan idols and then blamed it on Satan. And you tell me, how does a prophet mistake a demon’s voice for God’s?

Imagine if Paul or Peter did that.

Imagine if Jesus said, “oops, that part was from the devil.”

You would never trust that message again. But with Muhammad, there’s a double standard where you’re not allowed to question. Even when he married a child, took extra wives, and had people killed, you’re told to submit.

And that’s when I knew.

A real prophet doesn’t serve himself.

He sacrifices himself to serve others.

Only one man in history never changed under pressure and still laid down his life.

And that’s Jesus Christ.

I came across this crazy find in the Golan Heights that almost nobody ever talks about. There’s this quiet valley called Ein Keshatot, or Umm el-Kanatir, where springs still run clear.

Archaeologists dug there and uncovered the ruins of a large Jewish synagogue from the fifth century. What blew me away is how much of it is still intact.
They found the Torah ark, that special stone niche where they kept the scrolls, right in its original spot. Next to it is the raised bima platform where people stood to read the Torah. You can still see the steps leading up to it and the whole layout facing Jerusalem, just like it should. It’s one of the only synagogues from that whole Sea of Galilee and Golan area that kept its full setup like this.

The village around it was pretty organized. People grew flax and used the spring water to make textiles. They lived there for hundreds of years, praying, working, and building their community. Then in 749 CE a massive earthquake hit. The place got wrecked and everyone just left. Because it ended so suddenly, the synagogue stayed buried and pretty well preserved.
When they excavated it, they even saw signs of an upper gallery, maybe for women or extra seating, which is pretty rare for that time. The stonework is solid, clearly done by people who knew exactly what they were doing for their sacred space.

This place quietly shows that Jewish life in Israel didn’t just disappear after the Temple was destroyed. Communities kept going strong, with real villages, active worship, and deep roots here right through Byzantine times. It’s not some famous tourist spot, but man, it hits different when you realize these stones are even more proof of continuous Jewish history on the land.

If you’re into this stuff, look up Ein Keshatot. It’s one of those hidden gems that makes you think. The land itself keeps telling the story if you pay attention.

“Judea and Samaria” has been used for thousands of years, including by ancient empires, the British Mandate, and the 1947 UN Partition Plan.

“West Bank” only emerged after Jordan seized the territory in 1948 and renamed it in relation to its own “East Bank.”

So why do media outlets treat “West Bank” as neutral, while framing “Judea and Samaria” as political or biblical?

A small folded lead tablet found on Mount Ebal in Israel has shaken things up. It dates back to around 1200 BCE and may contain the earliest known writing of G-d’s name, YHWH, in Hebrew.

The site is where the Bible says Joshua built an altar. It is one of the oldest pieces of evidence we have for the ancient Israelites in the land, and adds even more real evidence to the mountain that already exists to the deep Jewish roots of the land.

The President of Turkey, Erdogan, originates from the Greek village of Potamia (Potamya) in Rizounta (Rize), Pontus. He comes from Greek Romioi (Byzantine Greek) parents who converted to Islam in the 20th century. They had held out until then and remained Christians, but they changed their faith only about 100 years ago when Muslims were expelling/genocide all the Christians from Anatolia. In other words, his ancestors were Christian Greeks who converted to Muslim Turks to save themselves. This President of Turkey probably knows everything. Now imagine what is happening across the whole of Turkey.

Also, during the era of the Ottoman Empire, the name "Turk" meant "Donkey" and was a synonym for "eşek" (donkey). That is why they used the term "Ottoman" instead. However, an "Ottoman" was not only a Turk, but also a Janissary (Greek, Armenian, Georgian, Bulgarian, etc.). It was a general, overarching identity.

I challenge President Erdogan to publish his whole genealogy and history of his family from his village in Pontus.
