Anyone who was around during Apartheid remembers a country that was not crime-infested.

After the ANC took over, that changed dramatically, with crime becoming rampant.

So, instead of taking the reasonable stance of saying that SA should get back to being a safe country, you instead say that those who remember it being a safe country should just be happy with the 'new normal' of ANC-led wanton lawlessness.

I enjoy watching this wordplay surrounding the "Genocide in South Africa" debate and how the issue gets obfuscated by simply switching a few words around.

When you say, "There is no genocide in South Africa," who are you talking about?

The farmers? The woman? Because we do actually refer to the pandemic against our ladies as a FEMICIDE, which one can argue really resembles a gender-based "genocide" in which, ironically, the argument can be made that there is, in fact, a genocide in South Africa. 🤷‍♂️

I was always under the impression that the genocide debate revolved specifically around farmers. When did it become a white genocide in South Africa? Because they are not the same thing.

You see, there can be a FEMICIDE in South Africa.
Most people call it that. It's even acknowledged by the President. Even when it occurs inside the same high-violence environment in which black South African men are predominantly killed. We call it a FEMICIDE.

But as soon as we apply that logic to FARMERS and call it a GENOCIDE OF FARMERS (of which the evidence clearly suggests the highest per capita rate) it becomes just ordinary crime within the same high-violence environment.

So either FEMICIDE is just ordinary crime.
Or the killing of FARMERS is a GENOCIDE within the farming community. Is FARMICIDE a word?

You can't have it one way and not the other.
If we changed this entire debate around the genocide of farmers in South Africa and called it FARMERCIDE instead:

Would it be more acceptable?
Could we then accept there's FEMICIDE AND FARMICIDE within the same high-violence environment?

And if so, would it change a damn thing about the argument being made to consider it a priority crime such as FEMICIDE?

WTF are we dancing around stupid semantics in 2026?

The real reason you’re seeing the tantrums about the White Cross Project is this.

And this applies to almost any criticism of the South African government. It’s why people call for critics to be arrested for treason and in some cases even “necklaced”. Google that term if you don’t know what it means in the South African context.

The truth is that some South Africans simply refuse to confront what so-called post-apartheid South Africa has become.

We have one of the highest murder and rape rates in the world. Our per capita murder rate is roughly 8 times that of the United States. Extreme violence on farms. Incitement of violence by politicians against farmers and minorities. More race laws on the statute books than at the height of apartheid.

Just about every major state-owned enterprise has been hollowed out by corruption, mismanagement and looting. People live behind 8-foot walls with electric fencing, burglar bars and security gates. Some South Africans literally install “rape gates” in their hallways to protect their bedrooms from intruders.

Our police and military are a running joke. Police stations don’t answer their phones and struggle with broken-down vehicles and basic resources.

Once world-class cities have been allowed to decay. There is rubbish everywhere, crumbling infrastructure, sewage running through communities and potholes you could practically swim in.

Our education system produces millions of functionally illiterate children. 8 out of ten Grade 4 children cannot even read for meaning.

We have an expanded unemployment rate of 43.8%. Only 16.7 million people are employed. 26.5 million people receive social grants. Read that again: we have more people on social grants than we have people employed.

For years, they sneered at the people who warned where this country was heading. They called them racists and traitors. They insisted the warnings were hysteria and that the ANC would never destroy the country.

Now they have to look at the results.

And when those results are exposed internationally, they don’t rage at the failures. They rage at the people exposing them.

Because admitting what has happened means admitting that the people they mocked and vilified were warning about things that ultimately came to pass.

That crying you hear over the White Cross Project?

It’s humiliation and embarrassment.

Advocate Mark Oppenheimer stood at a podium in Washington and walked through the moment Julius Malema looked a White farm-attack survivor in the eye and shrugged.

During the AfriForum “Kill the Boer” litigation, Oppenheimer put the facts to Malema under oath. An elderly White farmer testified from a wheelchair. Attackers had burst in. A shotgun blast dropped his wife in front of him with a catastrophic head wound. The same blast tore through his own 10th thoracic vertebra and severed his spinal cord. He would never walk again.

In court he broke down describing how the chant “Kill the Boer / Kill the farmer” still yanks him straight back to that room. Oppenheimer asked if that testimony, the murdered wife, the shattered spine, the tears, would make Malema stop singing it.

Malema’s answer was, “No. I am not moved. Let me repeat five times. I’m not moved by that case you brought here. I am not moved. And if that will make me lose this case, let me lose it. I am not moved.”

South Africa’s courts later decided the chant was not hate speech. Oppenheimer told the DC audience that is exactly why the fight had to leave those courtrooms and go international.

This is what a farm attack in South Africa looks like.

New AfriForum report analyzed 47 farm attacks over 6 years and found the same pattern:

TORTURE. Not just robbery. Torture. Physical and emotional abuse on purpose.

She survived. Many don't.

Brits Pos report says attackers use specific, identified methods to inflict maximum pain.

This is not "crime." This is cruelty.

Where is the outrage? Where is the world media?

If this was anywhere else, it would be front page news worldwide.

Share her face. She deserves justice. The world must see this.

Christine Robinson’s case is one I will never forget.

Christine was a retired British teacher who had made South Africa her home. After her husband died, she continued running the game lodge they had built together near Thabazimbi.

On 30 July 2014, Christine was raped and murdered at that lodge.

Andrew Ndlovu fled after the attack. Years passed, but Christine’s family never stopped looking for him.

I became personally involved with the family, following leads and trying to find him. Six years to the day after Christine was murdered, a tip-off following another social media appeal led us to Johannesburg.

Together with SAPS members, led by W/O Crewe and former police officer Colonel Sakkie Louwrens, we found Ndlovu that very evening in Johannesburg and arrested him.

I will never forget that day. The feeling of satisfaction to tell a family that we got him!

But even an arrest was only the beginning of the road to justice.

Almost eight years after Christine’s murder, Ndlovu finally stood trial. His DNA linked him to the crime and in April 2022 he was convicted of rape and murder. He ultimately received two life sentences.

Christine’s family waited almost eight years for that moment.

Their persistence is something I will always remember.

A case does not become less important because the headlines disappear. A victim does not matter less because years have passed.

Sometimes justice requires people who simply refuse to stop looking.

This is why we do what we do. 🙏🏼

FARM ATTACKS
14–21 SEPTEMBER 2026

Four farm attacks were reported during the period from 14 to 21 September 2026. Incidents were recorded in Gauteng, the Free State and the Western Cape.

📍 Kameeldrift, Gauteng — 14/15 September

A farmer was attacked on a smallholding while feeding his pigs. He was assaulted and lost consciousness. When he later regained consciousness, he found himself lying in a pool of blood. A pig was stolen, and it is suspected that more than one assailant was involved in the attack.

📍 Bronkhorstspruit, Gauteng — 17 September

A farmworker was attacked during an incident on a farm in the Bronkhorstspruit area. Several items were stolen during the attack. Local safety structures responded to the incident, and two suspects were subsequently apprehended.

📍 Zoutpan, Free State — 19 September

A group of armed suspects targeted a farm in Zoutpan while the victims were inside the residence. The suspects fired a shot in the direction of the house before fleeing the scene.

📍 Grabouw, Western Cape — 19 September

A group of masked and armed suspects attacked a farm in Grabouw. The attackers were armed with knives and a crowbar. A man and woman were tied up with rope, and one of the victims was forced to open the safe. The suspects fled with a firearm, jewellery and electronic devices.

🇿🇦 Earlier today, South Africa’s Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) claimed on X that South Africa has the largest white population “outside the Northern Hemisphere.”

The post was deleted after users pointed out that the claim was false.

Argentina has an estimated 35 million white people, Australia nearly 20 million, while Brazil has more than 80 million and lies almost entirely in the Southern Hemisphere. South Africa’s white population is estimated at around 4.5 million.

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of Robert Wolk in Esther Park, Kempton Park.

The suspects fled the scene in a blue Volkswagen Jetta, which was found to be linked to 2 other cases involving hijacking and murder.

1 suspect was arrested in the Spartan area. The 2 others were arrested at the Enhlanzeni Hostel, where police also recovered the car.

1 of the suspects led the police to a house at Allandale Farm in Mayibuye, where they recovered an unlicensed firearm and rounds.

All 3 suspects are now in custody and are expected to face charges including murder, possession of a suspected hijacked or stolen vehicle, and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

The law might have acted.
But true justice for them is a one-way ticket to hell.

The dollar didn’t flinch. The rand didn’t heal. Farms didn’t get safer. The only thing that got enhanced was Cyril’s ability to turn a normal card payment into a summit talking point.
