@ExeterCycling Attended this evening. Some great routes (E6 nurses way, all segregated, wow), some wiggly around the houses. But time scales "10 to 20 years", and getting longer due to funding being pulled. Nurses way looking like 15 years away. Really disappointing.

Closing Western Way on Exeter's first die-in and vigil for the cyclist killed recently by a driver under the influence. Poignant moments in the speeches. Let's hope it's another step towards making a difference. @ExeterCycling #StopKillingCyclists

@ExeterCycling @craigalmay @StagecoachSW @RDEhospitals @DC_Police @Devon_Exeter Got hit on Barrack Road by @stagecoachsw bus recently, where the cycle path ends due to pedestrian Island nr barracks. When I caught the bus driver up (he didn't stop, despite me hammering on the window) his excuse was "he needed to pull in because of the island". Inexcusable.

@LordManley @gilesp There are some companies that'll come to you, but we did end up going to London to visit @LdnGreenCycles who were brilliant, and got a Douze which I'd highly recommend!

@ExeterCouncil How can a snap poll, organised by councillors against the pedestrianisation in the first place, effect a decision in this way? Despite the evidence showing that pedestrianisation improves retail footfall as well as reducing pollution in locations where it's been tried?

@ExeterCycling @ExeterCouncil @DevonCC Alternative route to Princesshay parking plus double yellow vans causing usual chaos in Southernhay... close calls for pedestrians and cyclists, while everyone else has all those lovely fumes to breath in. Time for something to be done?
