It took me a while to warm up to the idea of audiobooks. But then since frankly I can't afford physical books and always read them online. I suppose such a transition won't feel like betrayal to literature! So here are my current reads.
The DEATH of the last Queen of Rwanda (1928--1994) 💔😭
On April 20, around 11: 30 am, soldiers invaded Queen Rosalie Gicanda's home and abducted her and six others.
Before she died, she begged her killers not to use machetes and knives. They respected her wish and shot her six times in the chest.
She was one of the first people killed in Butare, and her murder marked the start of mass killings in the area.
Approximately 7,000 Tutsis were killed on that day.
As I have always said, If you have a problem with menstrual blood, then just date a man. Women menstruate it is not news. And sometimes, mistakes will happen.
If you think this little blood messes up your car, then wait till she has to push a baby out in the car while you are stuck in jam rushing to the hospital, you will see real blood.
And if she had a heavy meal before labor begins, Number 2 will actually come out before the baby. So this is nothing lads.
As long as you are straight and love women, then terms and conditions apply.😉 abakyala bazira.
Did you know the desire to escape slavery, was once classified as a mental illness called Drapetomania in 1851.
Black people were considered mentally ill for refusing to live in bondage.
the amount of depth the show has given her actually gags me. even while reading the books i always thought there was so much more they could’ve done to her character and in just one season alone they’ve done her so much justice and given us a perfect glimpse into her mindset
it’s crazy the things we don’t even realize we don’t have because of racism, i never even thought about the fact i never saw a black fetus illustrated & now that i’m seeing it, my mind is really blown that i never saw one before now
