They’re great for training and I do them, but that’s obviously not what people mean when they say how many pull-ups they can do.

@Michael95096306 @TBLightning They had nothing to lose by pulling the goalie. A 6-2 loss is the same as a 5-2 loss, and if it worked, it’d be 5-3, with three minutes remaining to narrow the gap. Could’ve given the boost they needed to push them into overtime.

@DocStrangelove2 Normally only one or two guys in a company would carry a flag or guidon, so I would agree that service members carrying flags on their chest rig is an outlier, not the standard kit. The flag would be stowed in a day pack in a more tactical environment, depending on command.

@persianjewess A 17 year old kid who joins the Marine Corps is expected to make that shot within a week of shooting with no prior experience. It’s more likely he went for the head and dropped the shot, or went for a chest shot and went high. With a properly zeroed rifle and optic, it’s feasible

@Squwil91 Maybe, but who on the Avs could’ve made their team better if they were healthy? Part of the fun is teams having to drag through three series to make it to the cup finals. Teams are battered and bruised, often times the play is slower, and brutal.

@bhags38 Trading Kuch would leave a huge hole on our wing, it’d be a much better idea to trade a, or multiple, centers. However, Edmonton would never make that trade. Point or Guentzel would be in more danger of being traded than Kuch, and Isaac Howard or Geekie for insurance 2/2

@bhags38 Comparing McDavid and Kucherov seems like apples and oranges. Kucherov isn’t a playmaker like McDavid is. McDavid is one of, if not the best all around forwards in the league, and Kucherov having more points wouldn’t change that. That being said, I wouldn’t trade Kuch. 1/2

@ColeSATurner 1/9, 4/12, and 5/13 teams were American in the 1993, 1994, & 1995 season. The wiki is messy about the American expansion, some folded and some were proposals, with the only real success being Baltimore (kudos). Better than 7/32 per NHL, but there were multiple expansions.
