IMO, it's less about the models and more about the metrics, tools, and practices to ensure agents will deliver the software I need.

If you can't measure it, how would you know a model update or a harness change is still producing software with the qualities you want?

It is not uniform either. Some areas of your codebase and type of changes will require more scrutiny than others.

My favorite part of "1/0=0" discussions is the static typing advocates saying "why do we need to check it? Returning 0 will be fine most times" and the dynamic typing advocates saying "you want to know as soon as possible when a value is invalid". 😅
