Covering the first eleven years of Patchwork Studios, this "pay what you choose" (including nothing) sampler is an excellent place to discover the bands and albums released on the label: https://t.co/aqdX9NYyVZ
(Spoiler: they've all got me on keyboards at least in some form ;-)
Happy #PianoDay2025!
To mark the occasion, here's a piano EP from Ben Bell:

Recorded at home with just a couple of microphones and an acoustic piano, this is stripped-back presentation of some familiar and some new melodies.
Thanks to @StevePilkingto5 at @VT_rocks for this glowing review of Hourglass.
"...an exceptionally good album..."
"...a gloriously unashamed bout of controlled and structured pomp and bombast..."

There once was a bowler called Tufnell,
Whose selection was never a tough call,
With a flick of his finger,
No batsmen could linger,
When faced with his out-of-the-rough ball.
The initial mistake isn't the problem. It's that the whole thing has not been about customer service, it has been about trying to justify not refunding the charges, no matter what the circumstances, even when they're clearly suspicious.
Never trust companies like that.
Hi @netflix, you're billing me for a subscription upgrade I don't recognise. It looks deeply suspicious (changed multiple times in a day) and after an hour with support all I get is:
"Once more, we cannot answer how or why it happened. But it did."
Really?
J*****e Netflix:
"Now, I understand you had not changed it personally too. But the plan was changed. That's all I'm saying."
I am the only user of this account. If you accept I didn't change it does that sound like a good basis for charging me?
@Behringer DM'd with case number(s). Like I say, I understand there's a shortage of parts, but replying to tickets doesn't need parts. Scheduling repairs for when you've got parts in stock, or replacements to send out, should also be straightforward.
@jgrahamc@sheeraf@morpiggg@Cloudflare@eastdakota But at its worst, you drive people over and you make phone calls.
This is an ugly problem, and people will be in meetings for weeks explaining how it went wrong and how to stop it happening again, but you'll have your kitten memes by the morning.
Probably.
