@daniellloyd1 Camp a night or two on Lake Lillooet (pic). Stay at @NitaLakeLodge and grab a drink at Roland's. So much more to do and not enough characters.
Spotted two Black Crowned Night Herons in Toronto near Old Mill. Had to search for what it was. A little unusual for the area from what I've read. #birdwatching@birdingtoronto
@hellomunroe Starred with full concentration at the sun and clouds for an hour and it's still cloudy and cool. Tried lifting the truck, only pulled a muscle. So far, pretty lame.🤷🏻♂️
I've had this vaccine 24hrs now & still no signs of x-ray vision, super-human strength, accelerated healing, or ability to control weather mentally. Such BS.
But seriously, you should still get vaccinated, since it does come with the super power of saving lives. #COVID19Vaccine
@jefftownley @DrFullertonMPP @fordnation Speaking with someone who worked in healthcare during the Mike Harris cuts, they foreshadowed growing problems and sounded warnings about inevitable worsening of the LTC system. While she's accountable, we have to make sure each governing party doesn't let healthcare deteriorate.
@DonlanSteel@metromorning I suggested to the asthma pharmaceutical program I'm on they notify thier other patients to bring a confirmation from their specialist saying the vaccine will not conflict. With that head up, it would have been smoother sailing. But someone onsite to assist would be useful too.
@metromorning In a high risk area with respiratory issues I was happy to get an appt. I was turned away at the appt, they weren't familiar with an asthma med I take. Asked me to get a note, but then couldn't rebook. Suggest a specialist note if you're on anything new/less common.
Unless you have a 70% chance of surviving your intubation/resuscitation and ICU care you will be allowed to die.
This is coming from Critical Care Services Ontario in the days ahead.
We've all been put on notice.
