I’ve hired 100+ people in the past year on the road to 8-figs
Your business’s success is just a multiple of the people you hire. It’s also the part people fuck up the most.
3 ways to make sure your hires succeed — from an idiot who’s messed it up plenty of times:
1.POACH THEM. Hire someone who’s already done the exact job you need done. Best candidates are people who can’t grow as fast as they’d like at their current company.
2.Give every new hire a BUDDY for the first 90 days — someone who’s been on the team a while. Prevents you from having to deal with a million questions as they ramp up.
3.Hire OUTSIDE the US whenever you can. US employees are lazy. The talent in LatAm is great if you know where to look (I find talent through @BenjaminMorone who’s placed 10+ hires for me)
What did I miss?
I've been dead silent about this until now:
67 days ago @alexgoughcooper asked me if I could launch his company.
We went to WAR:
-15 rounds of script revisions.
- 2 FULL scraps to the video
- 362 comments to our video editors
The result?
Sales calendar packed.
100+ self serve sign ups.
VC's coming inbound begging to invest.
We have a framework we've rinsed and repeated across 15 launches.
Each of which have done MILLIONS of views and have driven Millions in pipeline.
I built a 27-page document explaining the entire framework.
Companies pay me $150,000 for this.
Retweet + comment "Launch" and I'll send it to you.
