@afreenaamna@gesticart I hereby accuse Afreen of adultery
That’s it, case closed, take her away. She’s accused so obviously she’s guilty no time for a trial execute her now
@b33fyb3nny @theashleyray I know!! I’m supposed to stan her for being funny and cutting and campy and dramatic? Nobody is watching this show for good tv people!!
@ArthurSchwartz@HighPlainsFella@ryangrim Article 37(1)(c) expressly lists “the feigning of civilian, non-combatant status” as perfidy. Paragraph 2 allows ruses only where they “do not invite the confidence of an adversary with respect to protection under [international] law.” Civilian status is such a protection.
@KevinFalk7 @willkirbyBB @purpl3dit Makes sense! Lots of other people didn't spot it I'm sure. Tons of people did. So she spoiled it for everyone who did. That's why those people, the people who understood, are annoyed.
@IkeBB32 It was an obvious misdirect, purporting to apologize to her fans for what would happen. It implied her fans would be disappointed (that she went home).
Was clear to me the second I read it that Danielle would win the teased battle between her and Carolyn.
@jonfavs@TheRealJChubby Why would the Pod — which went out on a limb to advocate that Biden was doomed to lose and should step aside — have held back polling showing their position was unambiguously the correct one? It makes literally zero sense and is obviously false.
@leebee4life She is amazing and ran the best campaign of our lifetimes. It’s not her fault this country is broken, maybe beyond repair. We unfortunately elected the man this messed up place wanted and probably deserves. Heartbreaking, horrible, but not that amazing woman’s fault.
@ShannonGaitz Thank you for your support and friendship. I don’t know you, but have always adored your Survivor commentary, and it means a lot to have your empathy and care in this moment.
@CAKitchener My heart breaks for what your billionaire owner did to you and us. But as readers, our only options are support the subjugation of journalist and editorial ethics to corporate cowardice, or don’t support that.
@CAKitchener But how can we know? You don’t make those calls. Your employer not only kowtowed to fascism, it gaslit its readers, telling us falsely it was in service of a higher ideal. What future censorship and decisions to serve authoritarianism will our dollars underwrite?
@SpencerHakimian@NewsWire_US It’s to garner media attention and likely highlight issues that will draw in a national audience. Right now it’s a fight mainly for attention, and Trump is winning it with his stunts. They’re not competing for votes in these states, they’re competing for air time.
