@tfadell reading your book Build about Honeywell laughing at Nest. Supposedly they did the same thing to Gary & Min (now of Garmin fame) when they pitched portable GPS. Is there 1 more to make it a full strikeout on missing emerging technology?

Loving the book so far!

@carlvellotti Putting that into a story execs could sink their teeth into had them chomping at the bit to get going on the redesign. Coming back quickly with a concept that resonated with users and addressed those problem areas solidified that support.

[Ben Tipler @bentipler]

@carlvellotti The icing on the cake was it was taking returning users longer than new users to accomplish the primary task in the app 🤦🏻‍♂️

@thejenpearce @skuwamoto @figma Bittersweet is right, @thejenpearce. That was the final frontier I’d been waiting for a design tool to address to let me fully let go of Axure.

@j__spriggs I’ve experimented with and without. I really didn’t like it with, but I must have been seeing some of the same stuff you’re seeing & it was getting me interviews. For my job search that got me to Dropbox I took it off, and I’m leaving it off as I touch up my resume now. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@thejenpearce That shirt does look like you’re finding a good balance between comfortable and polished 🤷🏻‍♂️

@nateknox Right? Borderline creepy.

[Ben Tipler @bentipler]

@nateknox Regardless, an amazing treat. Also, something crazy? I just read these words from my book as I got this notification 🤯

[Ben Tipler @bentipler]

@pbanta @laurenloprete I plan room layouts, wall layouts for pictures/art & even designed a bar I want to build in our basement. I used to do it in Illustrator, but doing it in Figma has been even better because I can pull it up on multiple devices and share it!

[Ben Tipler @bentipler]

@flath2o 😂👋

@courtney271 @DropboxDesign @Dropbox Welcome to Dropbox! I’m only a couple months in, but every week I’m experiencing the great things you mentioned. Feel free to reach out if you want another newbie to bounce things off of!

@DougCollinsUX How to Make Sense of Any Mess by @Abby_the_IA belongs on the list!

[Ben Tipler @bentipler]

@krispuckett @Dropbox Aw, I just missed you. I started @dropbox Tuesday 🫤. Regardless, good luck on what’s next!
