BREAKING: South Korea will give 52 million people free, unlimited AI.

Beta goes live this month, full rollout is expected by the end of the year.

It's the first major country to treat it as a public utility. The plan is to wire it into taxes, housing and doctor's appointments, and the stated goal is one AI agent per citizen.

The official reason is "cutting dependence on American and Chinese models".

My read: The official reason could be a cover up. South Korea has the lowest birth rate on earth and a shrinking workforce. When a country runs out of workers they desperately need to increase productivity.

I wonder if they eventually count each AI agent as a unit of GDP?

If it works, every ageing economy copies it within five years.

This will prove to be one of the biggest experiments in human thinking ever run. 52 million people will have zero friction and most will automate every daily decision with a model.

Those who combine their thinking with the model, will increase productivity for the economy.

How to actually use (the new) ChatGPT-Astra-6:

1. Do not use ChatGPT in a browser.
2. Download the ChatGPT app first.
3. You must only use Work or Codex modes.
4. The only best effort for Astra is clearly "Medium".
5. Medium sits at the best intelligence + cost + speed.

To make it simpler, go to ChatGPT Work → GPT-6 Astra → Medium.

You don't have access to GPT-6 if you are on a free ChatGPT account.

You can think of switching from Claude to ChatGPT:

> GPT-6 is smarter than Fable-5.1.
> GPT-6 is 2x cheaper than Fable-5.1
> And GPT-6 is also 2x faster.

Then prompt gpt-6 like this:

PROMPT TIP 1. Give it a finish line.
"Help me analyze this" has too many gaps to fill.
Instead, state what you actually want to get by the end of the session: a ranked list, a spreadsheet, a finished deck.

PROMPT TIP 2. Decide which questions it may ask.
Astra asks for clarification more than older models (it's a good thing).
Clearly tell the decisions that need to be in your input. It handles the rest.

PROMPT TIP 3. Tell it what each file is for.
Evidence? Template? Style reference?
A simple one-liner explanation will save back-and-forth clarifying chat.

PROMPT TIP 4. Tell it what readable means.
I always add this in my prompts: "Use ASD-STE100." to receive uncomplicated answers.

PROMPT TIP 5. Interrupt Astra mid-task with a new instruction. It updates the plan from there & keeps going.

Mind you: you can't access GPT-6-Astra on a free tier whatsoever.
OpenAI is serving Pro users first, and then Plus users eventually.
