This take is the Astros maroon brick version…TURRIBLE. Rockets are ketchup and mustard. Astros are blue and orange (as much as I love the blue and gold era). Texans (Oilers) are Columbia blue.
This should've been Houston's long-term brand identity. I would argue it's the only true brand identity they've ever had. None of their other jerseys have had an ounce of personality. But there's no nostalgia tied to them because they came a few years too late.
Jeter was the face of the Yankees. He sat in that clubhouse every night, watched teammates stick needles in their asses, won a WS MVP and rings off the back of it and said nothing. For years. Not until reporters dragged it into the light.
“Innocent” is a word you use for a kid who didn’t know what was happening.
Jeter knew. He profited. He stayed quiet. Jeter let the entire sport eat the consequences while he kept the trophies.
I don’t think he gets enough criticism for it. I don’t think any player, manager or coach from the Yankees should be allowed to even buy a ticket to the HOF, let alone get inducted into it.
Lmfao!!
Did you see how hard that sweeped left halfway to home?!! That pitch was straight when Altuve began his split second decision to swing
The unfortunate successful rise of jomboy escalated engagement farming with hypothetical scenarios
Ohtani was shocked at his pitch
