@PEoperator I can’t stand getting AI-generated emails. Frankly, I just don’t read them. AI is amazing and has automated a lot of otherwise tedious work, but shouldn’t be at the expense of losing our ability to think critically and be succinct.
@PEoperator 30 year old with day job as FP&A Manager at PE-backed company. Have a side hustle as fractional CFO of two global biotech companies owned by a UHNW individual. Weird situation and feel some imposter syndrome given I’m low on the totem pole in my day job but a CFO by night.
I've liked Ken Griffin ever since he paid $44 million to prevent a dinosaur from leaving the US.
Wealthy foreigners were trying to buy the dino and ship it to their country. Griffin outbid them and later said: “Apex was born in America and is going to stay in America”. Apex is now in an Arkansas museum.
This is what wealthy Americans should be doing, investing, growing wealth, creating jobs, and protecting our assets.
The fact that he is now publicly standing up against Zohran's class warfare tactics is completely necessary. Zohran poked the wrong bear. The politicians say you shouldn't like him, but I don't care, I like him.
TMZ flips the script and does real reporting. They finally call out Democrats and say EVERYONE in congress needs to be voted out
They have evidence of Congress partying like they’re on Spring Break while everyone else has to deal with the shutdown
“It's not the other party, it's both parties and we are kind of sick of the way they are patronizing us and that's why we're doing this. Something has to change”
“We have talked about what we call the outer movement, OWTA out with their asses, voting everybody out, even the ones you like to reset things and make it clear to the next group.
Here is our expectation that you will keep the government open, that federal workers will get paid. And if you don't do that, we're gonna throw you out. Like we threw your predecessors out. So that seems to be the only maybe last resort of regaining some power”
The TSA meltdown is the Democrats fault!
The TSA meltdown is the Republicans fault!
No.
The TSA meltdown is the GOVERNMENT'S fault.
Their job, the one we pay and elect them for, is to keep the government running efficiently and serve the citizens.
Hold them ALL accountable.
Well I think we figured out how to get Senators to do any damn thing, threaten their vacation time.
Maybe this is a new provision, senate doesn’t get to leave (at all) until they fund government and get people the pay they’ve EARNED.
They think they are so high and mighty while the little guy suffers. End that.
These people forget who they work for. It’s not the DNC it’s not the RNC, it’s WE THE PEOPLE. They need a major reckoning.
It is so freaking embarrassing that our members of congress are allowing Americans to go without paychecks and others to wait in hours long lines all because Democrats can’t divorce themselves from their illegal alien love affair and republicans can’t negotiate their way out of a paper bag.
This is infuriating but so more, it’s f’n pathetic.
You are all an utter embarrassment to the office and to the American people who sent you there.
Sen. John Kennedy: "There are two ways to stop shutdowns in the Senate, failproof. Number one, no senator gets paid. But equally important, no senator can leave Washington, DC."
It’s unfortunate that our government is run by a collective of bozos who can’t get their shit together. Every single member of congress should be ashamed of themselves and should forfeit their right to a paycheck, reelection, and any other perks they receive.
@SecretCFO Took me maybe an hour or so to teach it how to update a weekly cash flow model. It knows how to grab from QuickBooks, paste in raw data, map accounts, and update forecast. I now save 30 minutes per week. It also built me a valuation - very close to what the bankers came up with.
@PEoperator Gut feel/intuition tells me 5x. If I’m a customer, might consider paying 5.5x-6.0x if I can prove out that I’d get noticeable value from the transaction and QoE checks out.
Your rhetoric is so corrosive because you sneakily never use words like “earn” or “reward”. Instead you always favor helplessness words like “give”.
In everything you say, it’s clear you hate personal agency - it is always about the invisible hand of big brother coming to the rescue. And of course you should control that hand.
To set the record straight, for Elon to earn that kind of money, many tens of millions of people on earth will need to buy Elon’s products and pay for it with their hard earned money. In order for that to happen, his products will need to be revolutionary, cheap and superior on multiple dimensions. This is not obvious or straightforward.
So, if that happens and then people buy Tesla products, they will now do so also knowing that some percentage of the profit goes to the CEO of that company.
It couldn’t be more transparent and obvious.
@DerrickEvans4WV Hard to tell the caliber but this looks like a bolt action riffle with a suppressor/silencer, typically used for hunting larger animals at medium to long ranges. I’m an avid hunter and this tracks because the shot sounds like the crack of a whip (it’s not like in the movies).
Some people will hate this and say the leadership of America should be filled with PhDs, career non-profit execs or career politicians but I think hiring a cabinet of industry executives and CEOs to run America and solve problems is a better model.
