@GribbenC@BaptistActual I open the service by reading from the confession with a brief explanation followed by Scripture and prayer. I started this about 2 years ago.
The question for churches that cancel services after Christmas is why wouldn’t they cancel every Sunday?
Surely this isn’t the only week that people are tired and need a break. So if that is the standard for when the church meets, then why would the church ever meet again?
