The thing with a lot of conveniences is that it can leave room for negligence.

Why?
Because a section that requires basic human intelligence/reasoning may be quickly overlooked because of how fast paced results can actually be gotten without needing to put a lot of thought.

Opus 5 is an abomination. Absolutely the worst frontier model. Earlier today:
I was too lazy to switch the models, so I asked Opus to compare these 2 files and find if the contents overlap.

Opus: OMG I found this 3rd file called “draft.md”. Those 2 files overlap with the “draft.md”. In fact “draft.md” is much better.

WTF is this??! 😭 How can it be so dumb? At this point literally any Chinese model is better.
