Devastating, brutally honest & powerful. Abused & exploited as a child, traumatised then lazily criticised by people with no idea what he'd been through. Dele's story, painfully familiar in so many ways for so many vulnerable young people. So much admiration for him telling it.
🏃🏻♂️ A huge thank you to all who joined us at @pocketparkrun this morning in St Neots.
Around 230 people - including many Trust staff - ran the 5K course, many in blue in homage to the NHS.
There were smiles aplenty and not even a downpour dampened spirits!

Teenager Freya has been in hospital for 15 months, including nine months in critical care, waiting for and then recovering from a heart-lung transplant.
She missed her GCSEs, her prom night & much more.
Today she went home after an emotional goodbye with our incredible staff 💙
A difficult story to read ⤵️
Intensive Care is an incredibly rewarding but sometimes gruelling specialty even in ‘normal’ times. The psychological impact of the pandemic on health care professionals must not be underestimated @ICS_updates@SteveBarclay

@grumpybearmum@ThisisDavina I started on 100mg utrogestan, then 200mg but I was intolerant to oral utrogestan and had lots of bleeding. I switched to vaginal utrogestan and gradually bleeding stopped. If however I ever forget to take it I get spotting so I thought a mirena coil would prevent all that hassle
Julie Quigley was a truly special and phenomenally phenomenal woman whose life was cut short by blood cancer.
Please give what you can… our Captain, Julie, would be so happy ❤️

"We must never ever let the NHS free from our grasp, because if we do, your future will be my past…"
Just over 4 years ago @Harryslaststand gave what is still, in my opinion, one of the best speeches in defence of the #NHS I've ever heard.
