Feels inconsistent and unfair given the circumstances and the inability to apply membership details in advance!

@easyJet charged £52.5 for a cabin bag on an EZY return flight despite being an EasyJetPlus member, which was recognised on the outbound flight. I tried to add my details before travel but was unable to do so through the system. At airport I provided proof but was still charged🤬

+no receipt could be issued due to faulty equipment. After submitting proof of payment & being told the issue would be resolved I was left without updates for weeks.I followed up & was informed a refund would not be issued because my membership was not attached to booking
