🎯 Today, Silence Laboratories launched the world's first Post-Quantum MPC Wallet Infrastructure for institutional digital asset custody.

For years, MPC has been the right architecture for institutional signing and KMS — no single party ever holds the full key. The model continues. The cryptography beneath it is evolving. ECDSA, EdDSA, and BLS — secure today — will fall to Shor's algorithm on a sufficiently capable quantum computer (National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) deadlines and acceleration by Google's paper).

We spent last few quarters evaluating NIST PQ signatures: SPHINCS+, Falcon, and CRYSTALS-Dilithium against what institutional MPC actually demands: signing efficiency, payload size, latency, TSS compatibility. Not every PQ algorithm is MPC-friendly. So far, Dilithium has a clear edge, while we are already building capabilities for others.

For banks and custodians already running MPC based products: this is a code upgrade, not an infrastructure replacement.
