Whilst my complaint handler has been very good I still don’t have a smart meter or monitors months on, I now receive this asking me to pay £400 monthly even though I’ve continued to pay my full direct debits throught this mess @BritishGas come on now! #disgusting#britishgas
@Conthe1@BritishGas They’ve still not finished fitting the smart meter in 6 months (literally only have 1 meter rather than 2 & no smart meter at all) I wish I could switch but don’t think I can until this is resolved.

1st my smart meter is NOT up & running 2nd I’m in credit by £297 this year 3rd a slight increase annually, fund 4th payments are staying the same! Now today £400 a month! complaints been going for 6 months now #fuming#complaint

I cannot believe how badly @BritishGas have been at trying to install a smart meter. failed installation, no phone calls back when agreed, 2nd installation attempt a month later & still no smart meter! During which time they write to me to ask me for a f***ing meter reading!!
Still no news on my ‘open complaint’ with @BritishGas (which I didn’t even know I had) all I want is the smart hub installed. Another weekend is about to come & go with no smart meter sorted & no contact other than 1 missed call #britishgas
So @BritishGasHelp said they’d try to ‘find out the next steps for me’ 24 hours later I’ve had generic response! Not to mention out light shade in the kitchen has this week melted, I can only assume that this is because of it
