@LNER This makes no sense…your delayed train is going to make me miss my connection and have to cancel my whole trip. Not my fault. There is an earlier train which will get me to my connection on time and yet I have to buy a new ticket to use it?

@LNER I’m travelling from Newcastle to Retford on the 08.58. Updates say this departure from Newcastle is delayed. Does this mean I am going to miss my 10.02 connection at York? Because if it does, I might as well not travel at all as it will mean I miss my meeting.

@LNER Scrap that, the delay is getting worse every time I check. Can I get on an earlier train to York which will get me to my connection on time? I have an advance single.

@My_Metro I missed my train, have had to pay for a new ticket and will be v late for my meeting. The already delayed Metro took 42 mins to central, not 28. If you’d answered my question about whether it was likely to suffer further delays en route, I’d have got an Uber and made my train 🤷🏼‍♀️
