When I called and told them to come get their car they said I had to call roadside assistance. The mechanic that came to jumpstart the car said it was not my fault and that these cars have issues with their batteries constantly. I then had to drive it for 45 minutes to charge up.

I struggle with today. The utterance “Never Forget” seems like an ominously dystopian mantra. As if we could ever forget, as if, after 20 years of vengeful, bungled war, at a time when we are terribly divided and facing possible economic and social collapse we, as a nation, 1/8

It follows that the fear that was stoked that day has been deliberately grown and harvested culminating in tremendous nationalism. “Muscular Patriotism and “Paid Patriotism,” make an enemy out of criticism and are monikers that describe a movement toward authoritarianism.
