Today @mybmc claimed that there is no space in Mumbai for replanting trees that were cut for infrastructure projects.

The space exists, right there! The Coastal Road and the public spaces around it would be beautiful under a canopy of native trees.

The Mumbai Coastal Road promenade is a welcome addition of a safe pedestrian open space in the city.
Current status:
- Expansive concrete base
- Few trees
What it can be:
- Half width dedicated to natural landscaping with native trees
- Seating under shade, lawn to play and picnic

It's not too late. This can still be done. @AshwiniBhide @mybmc please consider giving Mumbaikars a space that's more appropriate for hot tropical weather.

Also the ones in the pic are not GOI guidelines compliant- they need to be yellow.
