@writethewrongs2@BritisherPaz49 I don’t think the motive is really relevant. He did it, by all accounts, and that’s all we need to know. If it was personal, political, financial, whatever…how does that make a difference? Please let’s not go down the mental health / diminished responsibility path.
@1Matt_Alexander@PolitlcsUK I was thinking the same - once you notice it, it’s so annoying and distracting. He needs to learn to say nothing in the pauses while he’s thinking. It would be so much more impactful.
@Farmer_Boycie I’m not sure why we need any kind of shaming at all & why we can’t just concentrate our efforts on her husband. He’s the one who’ll be needing scrutiny, not her.
@beard_caro19553 Oh dear, Carol. I see a Christian symbol in your bio but I hear ugly words coming from you. Not very nice, is it? What would Jesus say?
@Marky8812@ionafyfe Of course we all have the right to free speech but I do think we need to avoid body shaming and giving opinions about other women’s clothing choices and appearances. As women, we need to raise each other up and not take side swipes at our appearances. Surely we’re beyond that now
@_HeleneLand@MarkyP20@Joanna19997073 Once again, I didn’t say that. I didn’t say we can’t criticise other women, but I firmly believe their bodies, looks and clothing choices are theirs alone and should not be up for criticism especially by other women.
@Mofoman360@stevehollyhouse I honestly don’t understand why anyone would want to give him a role in government or how anyone would ever vote for him in the first place.
@Map_Addict It’s sickening. We’ve got women coming after other women and I’m feeling sick to my stomach at how awful this all is. I honestly thought we were better than that. It’s complete internalised misogyny and the lack of self awareness is astounding.
@_HeleneLand@MarkyP20@Joanna19997073 I’m absolutely not policing your thoughts. I said you’re entitled to say what you want. I’m not ‘triggered’, I’m troubled by your lack of self awareness & saddened that women seem to think it’s acceptable to be critical of other women’s appearances and tastes.
@_HeleneLand@MarkyP20@Joanna19997073 What you’re unknowingly displaying in your comments is internalised misogyny. Really have a think about that. You are, of course, entitled to say what you like but you’re revealing something deeply troubling about your own mindset.
@ArgyleBecky@swanage123 Oh Becky, you need to crawl back under your rock. This is 2026 and we, as women, need to be slightly more evolved. She can wear what she likes without other women shaming her clothes choices.
@Weggster When women attack other women for their appearance, we’re really in trouble. I’m honestly shocked at this. I thought we’d moved beyond this kind of behaviour.
@Maribellmouse@RachelMoiselle That’s because you’ve grown up and are way more evolved than these spiteful women who seem to enjoy taking swipes at other women. I’m so disappointed at how she’s being criticised for her appearance. It makes me feel quite sick to the stomach.
