@danohagan in a season when they simply can’t get it wrong - they appoint a guy who has never managed a whole season. It makes no sense and potentially leads to financial meltdown.

@_ChrisLepkowski Also and not wishing to defend AN - but you can understand that the ownership was puzzled by the sudden downturn in performance. Perhaps that was part of the conversation and suggestion of team shape. Clearly it didn’t work for either side and TM wasn’t ready.

@_ChrisLepkowski Squad balance and personality 100% a factor - but at the same time I don't believe that AN is the main reason he failed. He did sign Price, Armstrong etc - TM had support in very challenging financial circumstances and came up well short.

@_ChrisLepkowski @davemiles93 @gavin_poulton If indeed that's what really happened. I am sceptical that any Sporting Director at Champ level is doing that. I think TM is making his case; no right to reply for Nestor. Who for the record was the one who didn't want ER for example. I think TM is very much old school now.

@_ChrisLepkowski @davemiles93 @gavin_poulton I think we need to be careful on this issue. Errors have been made (this is football after all everybody makes them). Nestor may have made suggestions - and why not? But clearly didn't pick the team. AI is a hugely useful tool and I am sure nobody wants us to back to the old ways

@_ChrisLepkowski @TheVan @Michaelwh24 This was the problem with Whitwell. The National League is not good enough. You have to wonder if 20-25 games for Higgins & Deeming in L1/L2 will give them much better chance in the summer.
