@edwardhood@Owennfa Gold is down nearly 25% from its ATH in January. It can be more volatile than stocks. I value its long term value but if stocks were performing like gold people would be calling it a “crash” already.
@USCtrojan2205@AaronJFentress@Jared_Carrabis Higher revenue allows for tighter margins. That is basic economics. If your revenue is $750m, and you spend 70% on payroll, you have $225m left over for ops cost & profit. To get the same $225m on $500m in revenue, you can only spend 55% on payroll.
@lukasdietician @GarlandDunbar81 @milhousevanboot@TomFornelli You see a direct chart proving how unfair the tv revenue deal is, and your conversation is in a post directly stating other owners can also do more. If you’re not willing to see a $200m+ per year advantage on revenue as unfair then you’re not willing to have a real conversation
@SOTStallions@RepoleStable It was a poll of 250 people & majority were your followers. Truth is that outside of a small sample size, majority of fans (and potential fans) don’t know 99% of players in the league. Having recognizable names on rosters might be what they need to drum up local support
@FinanceLancelot Both this tweet, and the one you quoted, show that either you’re financially illiterate, grifting for engagement, or both.
“Taxpayer bailout of AI” the accounts are limited to investing in market-wide indicies. It takes 5 seconds to research this.
@BuiltInBuffalo_ The bills receiving the Vikings 6th makes little sense. It made more sense in the fanduel post that you went off of because it was a pick swap…
@ServoWealth The small cap sector feels hollowed out anymore. Many companies are staying private longer with private equity investments. By the time they IPO they are mid or large cap. What’s left is small regional banks and a bunch of unprofitable companies.
@AstorAaron@mlejacobs58@USTreasury@POTUS This whole post is about treasury returns & rates for the year. If we’re trying to look at the current administrations impact, you have to look at when they took office, not 2 months before.
@AstorAaron@mlejacobs58@USTreasury@POTUS 10 year treasury yield (which impacts almost all borrowing rates) was around 4.5 when Trump took office. It’s now near 4.
@karlwithac3@MySportsUpdate He had a top 5 WR on the opposite side of the field taking all the attention in Buffalo, then got injured in JAX. It’s pretty well laid out what happened.
@anakinstormborn@BillsOnReal Look at how close he is with all his teammates and how much he has done for the city of Buffalo & the children’s hospital. You can believe a narrative you concocted from 10+ year old screenshots, or you actually see the person he is through his actions. https://t.co/nAzYGCn2xL
@HarzburgCapital@Barchart More of a supply issue. Existing home owners are locked into low interest rates and want a premium to give them up. New homes are more abundant and builders have more urgency to sell.
@MattyFreshTV@RepoleStable Feb start was much better, but logistically I don’t think it’s possible utilizing so many MLS stadiums. UFL needs to wait for the MLS to release their schedule in late December before they can announce theirs. That would only give about a month to sell tix before opening week.
@StevenTuckone Is it 5k new season ticket holders this week, or just 5k total? They should have already been selling season tickets for the past month +. If it’s total and they can’t get to 5k yet then the city just won’t buy into the team.
@AllOutBlitzFB @SABrahmabullpen @The_UFM The league doesn’t make money on per capita numbers. I’m sure they expected more from a city that has little professional competition and a history of spring football
