@owenjonesjourno Is it possible that straight women would be concerned they could not give a bisexual man everything he wants and would therefore be worried that he would eventually look elsewhere. Seems obvious to me.
I knew today was going to be big.
I didn’t know we’d have so many volunteers that we’d leaflet the ENTIRE constituency in just two hours (!!) - 80,000 leaflets.
And we got to speak to so many people on their doorsteps.
This is how we win this campaign.
Thank you, everyone. 🙏🏽
Foreign donations are illegal, but British billionaires shouldn’t be able to buy influence either.
83% think the rich use donations for personal gain. Andy Burnham must keep his promise to cap them not backtrack yet again.
@jessesingal It’s a cross between Bruges and Amsterdam. Even has a small “red light” district with those windows etc. plus top van Eyke Altarpiece and interesting Frankencathedral. Thoroughly recommend.
@AaronBastani Youth clubs, skate parks, and things like that send a message to young people "You are part of a society and it cares about you and wants to make space for you", even if individuals do not themselves visit them.
@jasminegalx@adsfig5 Germany though. Paying for water in a restaurant is normalised there. Generally right though although comparatively recent in eg France
@dobro_the@f_fiallos For sure. I was in a band at the time and we changed from playing covers of Extreme and Bon Jovi the week that Teen Spirit was on Top of the Pops. The Pixies was an important stepping stone though, it didn’t come out of nowhere.
Actually, we need more national leaders who’ve done things in and for the UK, rather than LARPing on the world stage.
These people STILL don’t get British politics after Brexit.
