@RepMcGovern Imagine being an elected official, and being unable to make the hard choices necessary to spend money responsibly. Imagine being so emotionally entangled with the world's problems that one would allow the complete financial destruction of one's own in the name of benevolence
@BernieSanders This is not a good look Bernie. You may not realize it but all of these statements make you look like you are part of the theft and waste. Best you could do is admit that the bureaucracy is rotten and will do what you can to clean it up.
@jessfraz There is an overlap in the industrial world. The factory worker, turned electrician, turned PLC programmer, turned roboticist. There are some fit/good looking ones out there.
@BlackIslePMD Diesel engines are wonderful. It's a shame they are so hated by the governing class. Almost every attempt to make them cleaner by regulators has resulted in some consequence that was worse than their original emissions.
@mcuban I see what you are saying. However, the attached picture is an electrical box in my home that needs reinstallation. I invite any robotics company to send their best robot to reinstall it as a demonstration. The industrial robot at my company certainly couldn't.
@ericweinstein ( a complement) You are a FEA program written in Fortran that is extremely accurate with good inputs. Without them it will not converge. Some are more flexible FEA programs that, when faced with poor inputs, will produce the best results possible...but often can't be trusted.
@elonmusk@GavinNewsom Gavin's making laws again. Make sure he puts his helmet on and doesn't have any sharp objects. Also someone should ensure he writes the laws in crayon and doesn't eat them.
@ericweinstein I think the short answer is that Musk has always approached his businesses in a stepwise manner as is necessary to keep a business alive.
