I completed my last day of residency this past week @StanfordRadOnc. I have had the most fortunate life with unbelievable support and care from an innumerable number of people. My 3 incredible kids and tireless, amazing wife cheered me along every step of the way for which I am eternally grateful for as I heartily look forward to a career where I can provide that same level of support and care for those needing treatment for cancer.
Postcards from ARS 2024. Here's Dr. Danny Vazquez (PGY-5) showcasing oral AND poster presentations. You makes us all so proud! #ars2024#radonc@KPSCALnews@KPResidencySCal

We previously published a retrospective comparison of triweekly carboplatin and high-dose cisplatin and found that triweekly carboplatin performed favorably for stage I-II but had inferior outcomes for stage III HPV+ disease:

We need to investigate better options for our cisplatin-ineligible H&N patients post-RTOG 1016 and NRG HN004. @RadoncMD gave an oral presentation at #ARS2023 today on our retrospective study suggesting superiority of triweekly carboplatin (AUC=5) over cetuximab:
Maui wow-ie! PGY-4 Derek Go gave an amazing oral presentation on our watch-and-wait rectal cancer pt outcomes at #ARS2023. He just received a $50k grant to further his work 🌟. Can’t wait to see what he is going to do next. @KP_LAMC #radonc#kaiser
