Why should the child of an auto-rickshaw driver pay ₹3,000 in exam fees just because they belong to the General category, while the child of an IAS officer pays nothing because of backward caste?

Poverty has no caste. Every student deserves equal treatment, equal exam fees, and equal opportunity.

- We all know that general doctors have the most skill because they qualify every exam without reservation
- When other people don't get proper treatment, they will themselves beg to be treated by general doctors

Sujatha once received vi0lent threats from an enraged mob over his weekly historical novel Karuppu Sivappu Veluppu, set in 1857 British-era Tamil Nadu. The mob's demand was clear - stop writing or face vi0lent consequences.

Although the editor of Kumudham stood firmly behind him and urged him to continue despite the intimidation, Sujatha made the pragmatic decision to discontinue it.

Years later, after the outrage had faded and the mob had found something else to be angry about, Sujatha returned to the very same novel. He published it under a different title (Ratham Orey Niram) and completed it on his own terms.

Not everything that appears to be a L today remains an L in the long-term. Retreating from a battle you are not interested in fighting is also a winning strategy. Let them stick to their job of namecalling you as Ranchod, you stick to your job of picking your battles.

Auto driver Rajesh Kumar - My kid is a brilliant student. He scored well in Science, he scored well in Maths but scored less in English. Now he wants admission to a science college. For the last 15 days, I haven't taken a single passenger in this auto. I use this auto to go from one college to another to get him admission. But they are not ready to give him a science seat. They are saying he will get Commerce because he has no reservation.

Every college I go to asks 'Are you SC?' Arre sir, I am an auto driver. Isn't this enough? I can't afford to make my kid study in a private college where the fees are 1.5 lakh. If he studies Science, he will contribute to the betterment of this country. If he doesn't, he will live his whole life in pain and his entire generation will suffer. I'm going to jantar mantar. PM Modi will have to listen my voice."
