@JoshYohe_PGH @charlieo_conn Josh, early mailbag question perhaps, but we’d all agree Chinakhov is the best pure shooter the Pens have had since Kessel or Neal — what about his game does the coaching staff not trust to give him ice time on PP unit 1? Considering lack of shots was an issue that plagued it.

@charlieo_conn @AGretz I’m convinced he got dinged up in G1, something upper body, maybe that contributed to his shooting woes. The skating was there IMO, responsible in the NZ and DZ. Was hoping to see more, but the future is bright, 59 is legit.

@HunterHodies Part of the issue with PP was too much passing/not enough shots. Chinakhov might have been the cure to that ill, arguably the most talented shot on the team. Why do you think he wasn’t give an opportunity on unit 1?
