Startup tech leaders - (unless its your core value offering) stop rolling your own: UIs, databases, web frameworks, CSS-in-JSS/SaSS, esoteric build pipelines. NIH syndrome is real and will eat up your precious runway; say 'no' to personal projects projected as "need".
Startup tech leaders, the runway is always short; it's your job to keep the team focused on building what the business needs to make sales. NIH and "future proofing" will eat up your LIMITED RESOURCES; keep a laser like focus on executing the needs of the business. #Pragmatism
@MikeRiethmuller Why bother wasting precious memory on something so easy to look up. If I start from zero, I have to spend 5 seconds looking it up, if I have an example handy, copy/paste and move on. Better things to use my 640k for, like peopleโs names...
@adarshkkumar@kylegalbraith IME 9/10 times "future proofing" is an excuse for an ego-centric personal project; thinly veiled as "need". Build *what you need* now and KISS (and loosely coupled).
Congrats to David Wells on a really excellent vulnerability. Update your Zoom client, or throw it into a dumpster and light it on fire. https://t.co/uorWHHmdIX
Anyone with a PTZ optics camera or an Amcrest PTZ cam? My buddy @chrisfauerbach is working on an auto-tracking app and could use some more beta testers.

@EdLatimore Activation energy is the minimum amount of energy required to cause a reaction to occur. Founded in science, this applies to our actions as well.
To be cliche: this is why getting started is the hardest part.
With that in mind - get up and DO it!
Out of all relationships you'll have in your life, the most important will always be the one you have with yourself.
That one sets the precedent for all of the others.
