Thrilled to share a recent publication with @Protika_b, on the effects of air pollution on labor supply from a gender perspective in Feminist Economics. Employing Heckman correction with IV estimation, we show that women bear a higher cost of pollution.

Fun fact: in what is kind of the most excellent coincidence I have ever seen, today's economics laureate @PikaGoldin has a new @nberpubs working paper out this morning called "Why Women Won."
(This really presumably is a coincidence because not only is it not possible to predict receiving a @NobelPrize, but also the working paper release schedule is somewhat stochastic.)
CONGRATULATIONS @PikaGoldin, QED!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

You know your students use Chegg or many other available solution portals when you change the unit of currency from pounds to dollars in a question but still get answers in pounds. How ignorant can you be to write you pay tolls in the US in pounds!!
Something off a 📑 I am working on. I wonder what happened in 2010!! Have the income dynamics within households changed post Great Recession?
(This is not for males and females in same households though but would be interesting to see if not studied already)

#EconTwitter I am looking for quarterly US GDP by industry by NAICS codes. My primary requirement is to match industry output with ACS/CPS data. Any suggestions on where to look?
