We, @curateoromia, are deeply disappointed that #Ethiopia’s national broadcaster, EBC, reproduced an article we published on March 10, 2025, without proper attribution.

The article covered the premiere of 'Abbaa Malkaa', the first Afaan Oromoo film to debut at the Ethiopian National Theatre.

On March 11, EBC republished the piece, rearranging sections of the text without crediting Curate Oromia.
Failing to acknowledge original work undermines journalistic integrity and disregards the effort behind it.

We urge EBC to rectify this oversight by crediting Curate Oromia and to uphold fair attribution practices moving forward.
